About Strix:

I've been gaming since I was around three years old, starting with "Mortal Kombat" and side-scrolling beat 'em ups on the Game Boy, which sparked my passion for strategy and fighting games. Growing up, gaming was a big part of my life, shared with my family, and it eventually led me to a deeper involvement in esports. Now that I am in my thirties, I feel that age is just a number and that I'm still exploring and enjoying life to the fullest. 

As a Baptist Christian, I value giving back and helping others, which aligns with my approach to gaming and streaming. My values of openness, education, and personal growth are influenced by my upbringing and my dad's positive example. I view my gaming journey as a way to reflect on my progress over time and to challenge myself continuously.

One of my proudest moments in streaming was participating in the Saint Jude Gamers Giving Back program, where I helped raise significant funds for children in need. These types of experiences, along with meeting and learning from other gamers, inspire me to push my limits and support others in their growth. Despite my quiet demeanor, I genuinely care about helping others and believe in the idea that "a rising tide raises all ships." As I grow, I hope to lift others and contribute to a supportive and uplifting community.
