My motivation to become the Michigan Paladins General Manager stems from a desire to contribute beyond playing. Having experienced the competitive side of esports gaming firsthand, transitioning to a managerial role has offered me a broader perspective on organizing and strategizing for our team success. This role allows me to shape practices, support team growth, and enhance overall performance, while also providing opportunities for professional development and expanding my impact beyond gameplay.

Handling the pressure of high stakes matches requires a balanced mindset, and I approach each game as a new opportunity. I maintain a calm and grounded approach to ensure optimal performance within myself and my team. I strive to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for the Paladins. Humor and light-heartedness are tools I use to keep spirits up and keep the players energized. While addressing issues and making adjustments is important, I find that keeping the mood upbeat helps players stay motivated. I acknowledge setbacks but focus on moving forward, reinforcing a positive environment to help the team remain resilient.

Balancing the needs of individual players with team goals is something I take seriously. I assess each player’s strengths and weaknesses to determine their optimal role within the Paladin team. By recognizing each player's strengths and areas for improvement, I can strategically match them with teammates whose skills enhance and complement their own. As General Manager for the Michigan Paladins, my focus is on creating an environment that empowers each player to reach their full potential, while also strengthening the team's overall skills and paving the way for our shared success.
